This blog, Book Pickle, is an effort to share my love for reading children’s and young adults’ books with readers, parents and teachers. Opinions expressed in the blog posts are entirely my own. I do not participate in product endorsement or other commercial partnerships.

I write about books that excite me and the children I interact with. I understand that nobody sets out to write a bad book for children. However, it is equally true that not all books resonate with children and the target audience. Therefore, I do not guarantee a review on Book Pickle when I receive a review copy. My review will be honest, not necessarily positive. If the book doesn’t excite me, I may choose not to post a review on my blog. I do not give ratings (stars, for example.) to books I review as I find such systems too stifling; it takes the pleasure away from reading!

I accept review copies of contemporary and original books written for children, young readers and young adults published in India or written by an Indian author (or an author of Indian origin) or set in India or about India.

I review all genres and accept digital and print copies of books. However, for picture books, I prefer print copies. Please direct all enquires to bookpickle.in@gmail.com
